These movies are the best action movies I've seen with just enough story to tie all the fighting scenes together.

The first movies music was done by Mike Shinida from Linkin Park.

Word, I know people who swear by John Wick and never saw The Raid. I haven't seen an action packed foreign film like Raid 1 & 2 in years. So whomever post in this thread and know of other that came out in recent years please put me on.

A rare instance when the sequel surpasses the original. The knife fight in Raid 2 might be the best fight scene ever.

Can anyone confirm that Redemption is in 4K?

It looks like the "rated" version is only in HD, and want to make sure it's 4K.

EDIT - Fine, I'll do it myself LOL... YES, "Unrated" version shows in 4K UHD via AppleTV.

I'm hoping some day the sequel gets a 4K transfer.

For Apple you have to check the individual movies quality. Sometimes they list the bundle as being HD, but certain films in the bundle might be available in 4K.

It looks like the first movie is available in 4K when I checked my Apple TV app on my Fire TV. The second movie just has the HD symbol.

Unless it has changed, Apple used to offer free upgrades to 4K for movies when they become available. Maybe they still do?

If you click on the bundle and drill down to the unrated first movie, it shows as 4k on Vudu.

Highly recommend turning off the Linkin Park soundtrack and using the original soundtrack. I'm able to do that with my blu rays; not sure if it works with digital.
