There's alot of other stuff the 30 percent coupon works on. Might be a good idea to look around before making a purchase. I got a 3 pack of the advanced floss picks for $5.94. Theres 150 per pack so its 450 picks for $5.94.

$3.06 x .05 = $0.15
$3.06 x .30 = $0.92

Simply moving floss up and down doesn't accomplish a whole lot. My guess is that the additional contact/friction with tooth surfaces made easier by these things provides a decent amount of additional cleaning and disturbance of bacterial colonies.

I'm not a dentist but two have told me something just like this.
Also, this is the reason they did not recommend the water pik alone.
Anything is better than nothing but floss is king.

I usually use the regular flossers, but I twist them back and forth to get against each tooth, so essentially exactly what these do, I guess without the extra effort.

I used the 30 percent on the 6 pack, and a 25 percent off was still available for the 3 pack. 1,350 floss for the family!

I have these and love them, but I like the Plackers Twin-Line Dental Flossers better. The Dentek cross flossers tend to get stuck in my teeth. The Plackers Twin-Line do not.
