If you do subscribe just be aware that they won't give you any heads up when the subscription is about to renew. They'll just charge you the full $36 and then let you know about it afterward. Set yourself a reminder or cancel early and use until sub ends.

is it worth the subscription cost? i do plan to walk more to be active. what can this do that i cannot find online?

Great if you're a hiker. There are several benefits but the main one I use it for is downloading offline maps. Especially useful when you hike in places you don't have cell service.

Agreed offline maps is the top reason. Lately though I've been noticing some SIGNIFICANT differences in the stated distance on an Alltrails route and what I actually log on my GPS watch. Just FYI.

If you have cell service at trail head, start the navigation there, then you still can see the map when you walk into some places which don't have cell service.

I've been a Plus member for a few years now and at this discounted price, I've always found it worth it. The downloadable routes are clutch if you hike a lot like I do.

As someone else pointed out, 4 out of 5 hikes, the stated distance on the route ends up being 1-3 miles shorter than it actually is. My wife was pissed when the 5 mile hike I picked became 7 miles in 90 degree heat.

Does anyone know how to redeem this offer by paying with Google Play credit?

Google Play is not a payment option on the website.
In the Android App, there's no option to enter a discount code.

I can't speak for Apple but Google Play will give you 7 days notice before renewal.
