I bought a bunch of the Denali branded ones (now Amazon Basics) for myself & family after TTC's review and have absolutely zero complaints. The Denali rules!

I bought this item over a year ago. It's not a replacement for impact driver/drill but useful for basic usage.

I got one of these to keep in the bag. I don't love the ergonomics, and I don't use it often... but it's nice for the long machine screws you tend to find in electrical outlets/switches.

I recently did cabinet pulls, changed locks, door levers around the house and a similar skil one paid for itself. It's great for changing outlets etc and work that doesn't require lot of torque.

Notes:1) Common sale price. 2) The latest version WX242 has a mechanical torque clutch, so you dont strip out screws. Far superior. For work that you would use these type of tools on, there is more danger of stripping out a screw than not enough torque.

I'm a beginner when it comes to home tools. Please teach me the use case for this tool.

I already have a Dewalt Cordless 20v Drill that I often use for screws. Are people buying this tool to have a spare electric screwdriver so that you don't have to go get the drill? I'm trying to see if I should get it or not.

This is for much smaller tasks like Computers/electronics, outlets and light switches, putting together furniture. Stuff that a 20v drill is much too powerful for.

I definitely agree that the WX242 is better. It's not sold in the US for some reason. I had to get mine from aliexpress for about $35, and I love the torque adjustment options.
