Based on your statement, you clearly don't know what you are talking about. Jamo (Jacobsen/Mortensen) aren't the same speakers. They are a Danish brand that was acquired by Klipsch Audio. Magnat are crappity German speakers.

I own a set of Jamo that was from a deal posted here. Most of the set was fine, but I did replace the bookshelf speakers with some Infinity Reference (Harman Audio), which turned out to be a nice upgrade. I wouldn't recommend the Jamo bookshelf speakers, but everything else was decent for the $$$. Additionally, I added Jamo elevation speakers to the set, and those were fine as well.

But hey, I'm not trying to stop you from buying these if they're your favorite speakers. After all, it's your money. So good luck with them. Smilie

I think Randy has in reality moved way beyond the original cheap audio mantra he started with - seems every body keeps moving upstream to get better deals on their own upward $$ expanding system.....

They emailed me 3 tracking numbers, but when I go on the website I only see two. The smaller speakers have a tracking number and then one for each large one.

Got the speakers today. These things are gigantic! Speakers are packed well with no damage. Going to wire them up later, at least the big ones. Smaller ones I got to run new wires.

Update:
Hooked everything up. One downfall is the bookshelf speakers have the speaker wire connectors, not banana plug style. Good for me now because my old speakers were like that, so it was easy to connect. Would have preferred the plugs cause I still got to run better gauge wires anyway.


Sound is very clear. I got a good infinity center channel, but this really enhances the vocals. Oh Sherrie by Steve Perry is my treble / vocal test.
Before I was using bookshelf speakers for my fronts and old computer speakers for my rears. These new bookshelf sound a little better than my old ones, which I'll eventually use if I want 7.1.


I got a Jamo subwoofer, so the bass these floor speakers are putting out helps enhance my weak sub. That said no these aren't going to really help the bass, just a little. Good for the bass of Phil Collins songs, not Ludacris.


Overall I'm happy with the purchase. This was a great price for what you get.

The European Amazon site description states 4 - 8 Ohm impedance. I never like it when speaker companies spec impedance this way.

Isn't that normal given the tower has multiple speakers of different sizes in it?

I ended up buying this set. The tower speakers are great and seems to be solid build quality for the price. I drive them with a Denon S760h with no issues. Overall I absolutely love the tower speakers. I didn't get to try the bookshelf speakers since one of them was dead on arrival (could not get it to play). I was able to send them back, and I should get another pair in a week or so. Overall, I'm pretty happy with these towers. I'm glad I picked them up.

I bought them. Hopefully they are as good as you say, it would be nice for them to put the 2002 or the 507's on sale again.
