At almost half the price of the MicroCenter 7800x3D combo, this is a decent deal, although it is up to 30% lower performance. For a budget gaming build, it's a great foundation.
Damn! This is tempting but I really don't need it. This is basically a top of the line pc build. Toss a decent graphics card in it and you'd be able to play any modern title with ease.

I think there is a lot of misconception when it come down to so-called 30% faster. It maybe is 30% faster in some CPU bonded games, which is actually far and few, and typically applies to so called competitive games, were the FPS is already 150 and higher.
Now if you're talking about where the added FPS would actually be tangible, as in, games that running 40 frame per second versus 50 or 60 frame per second, those were almost always be graphic card bonded not CPU bonded. changing processor between the two will never bring a game that runs 40 frame per second to 50 frame per second
tldr, Yes there is a difference in performance, but no, for game that can actually showcase that difference, it's merely icing on the cake. for game that you actually struggle to get playable frame per second, neither processor will make a difference.

Need some help please...
I didn't see the 1TB M.2 SSD in the photos, nor listed on the Newegg page. Newegg's page only states there are 3 items included in the combo.
I only see reference to the SSD in the description and title.
Could this be going live as a weekend sale?

when you add it to the cart, the ssd is automatically listed under additional items
The 1TB SSD is added to the combo when you add the combo to your cart (added as a gift).
OP correctly states that you must add to cart for all the combo pieces to be added / included. However, it was unclear that the SSD was included from the photos and even Newegg's landing page description...no mention of the gifted SSD.
Apologies to OP and everyone for my oversight.
It's certainly a Slick Deal with the SSD included!
I think it's a great deal but the motherboard is the weak part. I had that motherboard paired with a 5800x, motherboard vrm would get hot! Replaced with a 5600x and wasn't as bad but supposedly the 5700x3d runs cooler than 5800x. Upgraded to an asus prime b550m and temps are way better with both chips.
