Just remember: The 4060 was mainly meant for 1080p rez gaming; this unit has more than a 1440p rez panel. Good luck getting 60 fps or above (high-ultra) on modern games at that rez....Which means this unit will be struggling more in 2-3 years than it would have at 1080p....Just sayin....
Edit: Seems I'm getting pushback on my comment...Here is xtra info on the matter. Cheers.
"When 1080p content is displayed on a 1440p monitor, the picture will not be optimal. For the best results, it's recommended to use the native resolution for the monitor. 1440p has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is 2.25 times more pixels than 1080p (1920 x 1080)."
This guy is right. Specs look good but it's a waste of money if the machine is not going to keep up with the advertised resolution.

So many modern titles use upscaling tech like DLSS/FSR and a resolution slider to begin with, so it doesn't matter that it's a 1600p panel. 800p can be upscaled easily to 1600p while keeping a good image quality. For older titles, the 4060 is powerful enough to run them well at 1600p anyways.

I play games at 1080p on a 4K panel. Games look fine to me. I'm sure it'll be even less noticeable on a 2.5k panel

Dont be scared by 4060 gpu misinfo.

The GPU has 8gb DRAM and DLSS boosting the 60fps for 1080p/1440p.

The screen is VA panel with no burn un issues and better battery life.

The 14th Gen Intel should be coming in. So the 13th gen Intel is at very good prices.

Remember you would need to spend 1200-1600 for 4070, get 25% boost in gpu buy spending 50%-100% more. As its still limited by wattage

If I'm reading this right this isn't a full power 4060 right? Product page says it's limited to 60W.

Heads up: My AMEX card has a $100 off $500 or more purchase offer for dell.com purchases, which makes this a pretty good deal if you have the offer.

To me these specs are more consistent with creator laptop as opposed to a gaming laptop. For gen purpose and video editing, this seems like a pretty solid deal

Yep, and the wattage they say in the specs is usually with a 15W boost, so it runs normally at 45W most likely. I have a Legion Slim 5 14.5" with and 85W 4060 and it's barely what I would consider worth it for decent gaming. Anything lower than that, even with DLSS and frame generation isn't gonna be amazing.

Solid deal. Been mainly seeing deals for the Dell G15/G16 with similar specs. The Inspiron line is much less beastly looking and lighter.

Change the Memory to DDR5, it'll also add the 2TB SSD for a $8.50 more, =$816.

It looks like it changes the graphics card from the 4060 to the 4050 when you do that. It still could be good. I just wanted to call that out.

Mine never shipped. Got stuck in logistics hell for two months before they cancelled.
