What's up with this statement…

"Newegg.com cannot guarantee the compatibility of Combo items. Please contact the manufacturer(s) directly if you have issues or concerns regarding compatibility."

What kind of computer store bundles tech that they don't know for sure will work together?

That is correct. This motherboard will perform perfectly fine

I copy and pasted your comment in a chatbot, and this was its response. "While waiting for 800 series motherboards might offer some advantages, it's not strictly necessary for using Ryzen 9000 series processors. The decision to wait depends on your specific needs and how much you value having the latest features."

They put that on every bundle they sell, as a CYA.

One should wait for 800 series motherboards to get the best results as these boards are designed specifically for 9000 series processors

This is nonsense. The 800 series is not going to be nearly a big enough improvement in order to justify the costs for the first year (like always with Ryzen).

Motherboard can load either xmp or expo. Expo profiles are tested with ryzen so there's a better chance of it working out of the box. I have a 6400 mhz xmp working flawlessly with my 7700x on a mag tomahawk x670e.
I remember reading the 9xxx series can run higher ram clocks.

It's just par for the course for Newegg these days. It's a real bummer how bad they have fallen off. They used to be my first choice when buying hardware, now they are my last.

This is the same company who bundled fire hazard MSI power supply with their combos.

There's some issues with latencies it looks with the higher core count 9000 series.

Maybe why they launched the single CCD chips first this go around?

I think most gamers know by now the x3d is the chip that matters nonetheless.
