Warren. They also make the Walmart super tech oil too. It's good stuff especially for the price.

You can take it to most oil change locations for no fee. I just dropped off 3 5 quart containers at Walmart when I bought a few jugs of mobile 1. I also drop off at auto parts stores like O'Reilly, advance Auto parts, etc. please recycle the oil as it has large ecological impact if thrown out or disposed of improperly

Walmart sells OEM oil filters.

Typically, I've noticed lower prices for items purchased via store pick up versus on the shelf in the store.

Order via app/web and store PU FTW.

dog its had a hard life. I dont even know what engine it has. I think 2.5 dont know if it's DI or FI. will have to google.

I bought it in 2012. June, and I forgot the car on for 24 hours once in middle of winter when it was new, I went inside and fell asleep and didnt try to go anywhere for a day, went outside and it was still on lol. heat was on HIGH recycle, it was like e million degrees inside, it lived half its life in Alaska, winters, and such. then I drove from Alaska to ohio, then took ti across the country towing motorcycles, and stuff to race tracks and such around the nation.

and yeah, the last 100k has just been city/highway standard driver, I tow kayaks with it.

its a 2013 scion tc, but I ordered it, and when it arrived in 2012 June, it was a 13. original only driver only owner.

at 175k my input shaft, was making a terrible noise like a jet engine. so I bought a brand new trans + while doing that, had dealer put a brand new clutch in it, wasn't slipping but since trans was being replaced, labor was free on clutch just paid parts. = cost me 4k for new trans + clutch, 14 hours @ 129 an hour labor. but I opened a credit card (if you spend 3k in 3 months) you got 800 back. so I did that, and then canceled the cc like week later lol. but 11-13 models had a defective input shaft, so whatever. I bought a new trans and it has the fixed input shaft. ------- oil has nothing to do with that input shaft though, just a failure. im not even mad since I got 175k trouble free miles (and I towed a LOT) so that may of strained trans.

here's my car.

I won't get rid of it, it's just too nice. OEM Audio + system, + JL 10w3v3 stealth box with 500watt JL audio amp. wireless CarPlay etc. 20 bucks month insurance, and 87 octaneeeee cheap
oh its fuel injection golden era toyota .

these design to run hard with dirty oil.

newer DI toyota with D4$ have 5k-10k oil interval , higher compression ratio. 2012-2023
they also going all hybird with rock solid eCVT and zero belts for 2024

im hoping it last another 10 years, 350k with no issues honestly. at that point I will be looking at the toyota stout (maverick competitor) that is supposedly being in talks. would love one of those with hybrid PHEV feature, so I can tow. kayaks etc. good fuel consumption and plug in overnight.

but prob will just drive this tc til I die. it still has original TPMS batteries, none of them have gone out, I am on my 2nd battery though, I put a AGM Duracell platinum at 10 year mark from sams club. the oem battery lasted 10 years!

Cool! First I've heard of it.

Send a pic of your odometer to [email protected] and wait a few months for something in the mail.

And a token pic of my Camry. Currently getting bumpers painted, and perhaps new OEM wheels soon.

I do like to stock up on the oils when they go on sale but do have a question. If the jug doesn't get opened, is there a life span? such as an "expiration" date? In other words, if I bought 20 jugs, (assuming 1 oil change every 3 months) would the last jug of oil, roughly 5 to 6 years or so after puchasing, degrade in quality?
I have found that the additives settle out over time. When using it I would just make sure you shake it well after you pour a little out to resuspend the additives so they do not cling to and stay in the bottle when you pour the oil out

Your local recycling center will take it too. My recycling facility is on the way to WalMart so I just stop by there. Autoparts stores and Walmart too will take used oil for recycling for free.

Our county has convenience centers for hazardous waste. They have a huge oil dump, very convenient. See if you have anything like that where you live? Autozone used to have a place to dump too.
