It's a bulova quartz. It probably costs $6 to make and the brand name is nothing special.
If you have $100, buy a Seiko 5 series auto watch. It'll look just as good and last much longer.
I love Seiko, I have some. I wouldn't call Bulova unreliable. Quartz will be more accurate than the Seiko automatic. Bulova makes some good watches currently and in the past. I have a Bulova Precisionist. If you like the way a watch looks, it keeps accurate time, and is reliable. Then buy what's in your budget.

You realize that 99% of the people here don't care about automatic watches right?
Also, Seiko 5 is not good quality with their misaligned bezels, horrible accuracy, rattly bracelets, and "mineral" crystal. It's not the same value as in the past.
For $100 you get a brand name (not prestigious by any means) and a reliable quartz movement with chronograph and date you don't need to ever really change except on certain months and extremely durable and extremely accurate with minimal to no maintenance, ever, except a battery change every 2-3 years or longer.

No battery changes and dials are subjective of course , chrono vs a chrono / dive mix.
