According to Tom's GPU Benchmarks Ranking 2024 the RX 6750 XT is roughly similar to the $429 Nvidia RTX 4060 TI 16GB and the $400 AMD RX-6800 in performance https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html
This is a solid deal. At this price point, Ray Tracing or DLSS, even with a new in-box Nvidia card (again, at this price) is really not going to boost your gaming experience to a much higher level.
This really hits a sweet spot.
This card is more at the level of a 3070, while saving you at least $50 from a used 3070 for a GPU that includes a warranty.
If $280 is your budget max it would be a struggle to do better, based on my recent research for a sub-$300 GPU.
And the 12GB of VRAM is unmatched at this price point with 3070 kind of performance.

I sometimes see 6800 for around $300 used and 6800xt for $360 used on fb marketplace. Would those be better options than this? The thing is, I don't play super demanding gpu games, like ff7 remake intergrade, d2r, d4 and dota. I'm currently using an rx580 8gb with a 1440p 34" monitor. Been looking to upgrade though because the gpu kind of struggles with d4 and d2r
If you don't play demanding titles, this is more than enough, and if even if you want to game at 1440p on a triple AAA title, this can do it as well, but you may need to use fsr or xess, but maybe not. I had a 6700 xt and it was fine within those demands.

This site is very biased towards nvidia in how they describe cards, but the numbers are legit.
I strongly recommend never, ever, ever using or referring people to useruserbenchmark[.]com. Especially when many of us know how off the mark it is. Because less-informed folks will then use it for the other, 95% of the cases where it is flat-out biased and wrong.

How do you exist on this planet and not understand how kind words work?

I know I might be contradicting myself here... But please be kind. If you know better than someone, you can share your knowledge constructively without putting them down.

The RX 6800 has been as low as $320 new recently but stock is almost depleted. You could wait to see if it comes back.

You could get it for $360 now: https://slickdeals.net/f/17491191-xfx-speedster-swft319-radeon-rx-6800-core-16gb-gddr6-video-card-359-free-shipping

That's not how fabs work. Analogy - a brewery can switch beer recipes without having to replace the vats.

Brother he has a 1050ti, it doesn't matter what I linked. A modern apu blows it out of the water, he obviously doesn't track pc components so that site is fine. Anybody can interpret 350-500% improvement as ok, this card may be better than mine.

Their benchmarking software is jank and as I stated, yes, they don't like amd, but in this case it doesn't matter.

I got your disclaimer. I wasn't admonishing you but rather raising concerns about userbenchmark for those who didn't know while offering a reliable source instead.

Fair enough, in the future I will link the site you recommended. I really am not a fan of the site I used, it was just convenient in this case where the 2 cards are so many miles apart in terms of performance I didnt think much about it. Sorry if I came off aggressive, it wasn't my intention!

Not a problem. My comment was abrupt... I was on my cell phone, and autocorrect kept messing me up, so I gave up on any attempt at wordsmanship. Sorry about that.

Need two HDMI, one for projector, one for TV.
DP to HDMI adaptors/cables are cheap. The other way round is what will cost a hefty penny

I'd be happy if they brought back crossfire, two of these would keep up with a 4090 at less than $600.

Good deal. I grabbed one around 7 months ago for this price via Amazon Open box. Great card for budget 1440p gaming. Getting solid 60fps on modern games at high to max settings (sans ray tracing). I have it paired with a ryzen 5600
