This has dropped in price a ton over the last several months. Was $800 less than 30 days ago.
Also, this is NOT intended to be a gaming laptop. It is built to be a productivity/work machine.

That's very funny, and I know 12th gen is affected but I'd be very surprised to learn even the laptop CPUs at these power outputs would be affected...

This is meteor lake. No impact due to issues seen in Raptor Lake Desktop CPUs(13th and 14th gen). Too much fud is being spread around. This is a great deal at this price point. Great screen as well.
