Schwinn Iris 16" Kids' Bike - Purple
For her, going with a smaller bike built her confidence instead of jumping to a big bike. I think either a 16" or 18" would work for your child. Luckily Target has easy returns.
The pedals don't freewheel, so it's perfect for the kid who likes to ride and still isn't ready for handbrakes.
We just gave this bike to a neighbor yesterday after ours outgrew it…mechanically and visually in great shape…well worth this price for a basic bike to ride in the neighborhood
