I have this, it is cute when in use, doesn't product much (usable) heat. Does not work great as a table as 99% of the time it is covered being the middle section does not have a cover so protecting from rain seems critical. I should have bought a firepit table where the firepit center had a hard cover / cap so it basically converted to a normal table when not in use.

No propane tables produce much heat. Their flame is for looks only.

Actually this 'produces' 3x the heat of an 18,000 BTU Mr. Buddy heater (kinda a gold standard for portable outdoor heat) BUT since the heat is not directional and sat rather high relative to where you will be seated the heat is wasted going straight up. So you do not enjoy 50,000 BTU's however it is still produced. ("produce" is also the wrong word here...just clarifying, not criticizing)

Some LP outdoor fire tables actually do a great job of heating a small area but they tend to do so by warming the stones around the flame and that heat then radiates outward. The heat outputted can be less important than the delivery method. This table just dumps the heat straight up, don't expect any real warming effect regardless of the BTU's claimed. My only point.

Version with cover for middle of table was on sale previously for $124. OoS currently but maybe it'll come back in stock?

Tell that to my kids as they're roasting marshmallows on a similar table. It does provide some decent warmth as well.
