It's a cheap watch, but keep in mind this movement is practically non-serviceable. So when it inevitably fails or develops issues, it cannot be fixed. Doesn't help that this movement is known to be quite unreliable too.

I think the fair contrast is with similarly priced watches which incorporate something like the relatively desirable Seiko NH35A Automatic Movement.
