Got the 120 servings size of this for $18.68 back in June. There have been much better deals than this one lately.

It's 3x the size of the OP's deal.

Most good protein powders will have Creatine in it already, so if you already use them, there isn't much reason to get more on it's own. Same with BCAAs.

Really now. Most of the isolate I purchase is just that. No creatine added.

Not really - besides that brand is a blended mix of whey - wouldn't touch it....

Where have you been? Powder deals are posted so often. And isolate is the one to get.

What's a good price point for unflavored isolate?

And? Studies have shown over and over that protein is protein and your really aren't getting much or any benefit from isolate over others. Dr Mike has a whole video about the same subject.

The best thing to do is get the most grams protein you can get per penny. It's why I never touch isolate because it's cost is crazy high compared to the actual protein count with little to no benefit. Lately I've been getting the 10lb bags of MuscleTech for around $70. it has both Creatine and BCAAs, just like all the others I've been buying over the years. Lasts about 2 months and is unbeatable for the price per gram at that price.

Isolate is nice because it is much less gassy for a lot of dudes. If you're good with concentrate or a mix, go for it.

It's great that powders with pre-mixed supplements work well for you! But a lot of dudes don't like it, because 1) you're probably paying more per serving for similar ingredients, and 2) it's harder to be precise about dosing.

I just go overboard on everything lol. Most people don't need macros or fall off soon enough anyway. You only need about 5g of creatine a day and one scoop of what I take has 3g and I take at least 2 scoops a day, sometimes more depending on how I've been able to eat. Like the name implies, it's a supplement to get the amount of protein I need in a day when I can't get it through eating.

Depends on a lot of things. Pure isolate is more expensive than a concentrate. Lots of brands blend whey isolate and concentrate.

I'd say $15 per pound or less is a good price (meaning I wouldn't pay much more) for normal isolate.

I also like this grass fed isolate, though it does come at a slight premium. https://www.samsclub.com/p/raw-wh.../P03022783

Costco has a store brand blend for like $10 per pound.
