3/4 cup of Distilled water, 1/4 cup Dawn Platinum dish soap and, tablespoon of 70% Isopropyl alcohol. You're welcome

$10.38 at sams club for a 3 pack (larger individual)

Sams club 21.5 oz x 3 pack = 64.5oz ($10.38)
Amazon 16 oz x 4 pack = 64 oz ($11.96)

I fail to see the savings unless you do not have a sams club membership or want it shipped

Even sams club normal price is much better than Amazon regular price

Also $10.08 for a 4 pack (16oz each) refill set

Looking at the Safety datasheets for the dish spray and the dish soap it looks like you have a point. The dish soap seems to have about 4x the concentration of surfactants as the dish spray. The specific surfactants are a little different. The spray seems to be just SLE3S and Lauramine Oxide while the dish soap is quite a cocktail.

Anecdotally, I have found that applying this spray to hot roasting pans and air-fryer baskets softens the polymerized fats way better than my regular soak in a fairly dilute solution of dish soap. I will have to try your recipe and see if it is just the greater concentration of surfactants that is doing the trick.

My recipe. It also works great on countertop stains and laundry.
Mix 13 fluid ounces of water, 4 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap, and 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle.

"PowerWash" is simply dawn diluted with water and alcohol. Some people may enjoy the convenience, but this 4-pack has as much soap as one $3 traditional bottle.

Thanks for the recipe. I'll test this out on one of the empty bottles I have. And I'd this really works, I'll just keep buying the large bottle of Dawn

That mix will not even get close to Powerwash. It totally misses the cleating agents which cut the grease. Do a comparison side by side and try it.
I use powerwash to spray over extremely soiled dishes or baked on grease then place in the dishwasher (I never pre wash or rinse) and get super clean dishes every time

I know there are diy recipes... But I LOVE this stuff for breast milk bottles.
I only hand wash ours, and this stuff makes a huge difference and speeds things up a bit
