imo these are way to expensive for a damn router. 200-250 is sweet spot.

The problem with these 6E ones is that they came out too late. This AXE16000 is just a step up from the AXE11000 and basically came out just as the BE/7 ones got released.

These have 10Gb ports, so this router was never for you anyway.

Unless you're on municipal fiber or signed up with some experimental ISP, there's no way you're paying under $200 a month for 10Gb internet.

As it is, I'm on 2Gb fiber and this is the first off the shelf router to dip below $500 that might actually work for my setup.
Gigglefiber.com has 8gb x8gb for $100 in my neighborhood

Well overpriced for what it is, especially since the Wifi 7 is only a little bit more.

Like I said, an experimental ISP.

The symmetrical 8 is sketchy, by the way.

EDIT: Nevermind, you not only doxxed yourself by this ISP only existing in one city, but there's no such plan. Their residential 1Gb/40Mb plan is $65 and there appears to be a data cap.
He probably meant Google fiber which does have an 8 gig plan although it's showing 150 a month.

Way too expensive. I paid under $100 for a TP-Link Tri-Band 7 Stream AX3200 Wi-Fi 6 Wireless Router

And it has been more than enough for gaming.
