Just a note to folks, I bought this last time. It's fine, but it is unbelievably sticky, not very tape dispenser gun friendly.

That's a good thing, sounds akin to ULine tape which is the bar for packing tape.

I think what you mean it's sticky in the sense that it leaves adhesive behind and gets caught on the tape dispenser gun? I can't stand tape like that

I bought some of this stuff a few weeks ago. Just generic tape but it seems to work ok for a good price.

I find Costco tape doesn't do very well on cardboard boxes. Would this work well with ---- Amazon boxes?

I have bought this and moved on to better tape. This is marginal at best and I didn't even use all the rolls I bought before giving up on it.

If someone can report back that has used this and Uline tape. Uline is currently having a sale for $1.79 each with a case of 36, however even the cheapest shipping is expensive coming from a warehouse within 30 miles, making the sale rolls $2.61 shipped, vs 2.16 for these rolls through Amazon.
I'm hoping it's comparable, mainly because I don't want to purchase 36 reels at a time.

In my world, Scotch is the gold standard. Maybe there are different grades of Uline tape, but the stuff we got is thin and not very sticky.

Also note that the Uline tape is $2/roll [uline.com], so that's $12 for 6. .

My favorite is the duck branded clear packing tape. I ship 1000's of packages a year and can tell you its not worth using cheap junk tape. Very frustrating. I have no experience with this tape, but 4.4/5 stars isn't very good.

Scotch Long Lasting Storage Packaging Tape is decent as well its what I have been using lately. It's about twice as expensive as this deal, $12.99 for 6 55 yrd rolls.

I think I prefer the Duck HD clear, but its close between that and the scotch. Both Scotch and Duct are 4.7/5.
