It's kind of random, but I did run across a couple of other MX4300 routers showing up publicly online that appear to be running a firmware 3.10.2 and say Linksys at the top and "powered by Tanaza" at the bottom …

http://75.140.16.20/
http://47.6.177.195/

And Linksys has some info on their website about "Third Party Software Used In MX4300v1 Version 3.10.2" which it seems like may be related to that FW …

https://downloads.linksys.com/sup...3.10.2.pdf [linksys.com]

Nothing useful really, but just random tidbits.
Fascinating! I'm a bit confused why one would want to leave their router publicly visible like that though. Seems like an invitation to get hacked.

Why is everyone blowing so early on this deal. These should be $5 a piece
FOMO perhaps? If it drops to $5 I will back up the truck.

Still waiting for mine to ship from the last $15 deal. Just checked and Woot says SEPT 13. Hasn't even shipped yet.

It's not a deal if you never receive it.
Same. Still waiting on mine 😂

My order from the last deal arrives today, I'm hoping it'll replace my old Asus AC rt-ac68u, will update with my thoughts after replacing.
Exact same boat. Had the t-mobile AC1900 rebadges for several years that this'll be replacing. Curious how this performs, have a feeling i'll miss the merlin firmware, but we'll see.

I just received mine. It's a heavy big box and I doubt the shipping fee itself worths $15, LOL. Looks nice but I have not tried it yet.

I'm wondering if this will drop further too. Maybe during Holidays?

also does anyone else think this looks like an Xbox?

I bought 6 from woot at this price (plus $6 shipping) and I am tempted to buy more just because it's cheap 😭edit: idk why the thumbs down, but I'm not a reseller, just a nerd who likes good deals - I'd probably just gift them to my parents and in-laws, configuration and everything
Same here. You are not alone

Does anyone use this with Xfinity XB wifi router? I don't get a strong enough signal on my 2nd floor so trying to figure out how I can use this to give a stronger signal to the PCs upstairs.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised when I saw them too … probably not the greatest idea.

Can this be used with an existing Mesh system like Ubiquity?

Does getting more "just because" even make sense? With it being behind 6e and 7, wouldn't that money be better set aside for in a couple of years when 7 is set in stone and more reasonably cost?
It's an actual question. I am not super knowledgeable in this space.

Not as a wifi extender, but it works as an access point, which means you need to have a wired connection to your router. Or get 2, one to replace your current wifi router/AP and the second as a wireless mesh. (It also works as a wired mesh, but I assume if you have a wired connection, you would just use one as an AP)
To be clear, in order to make a Linksys mesh, one of the Linksys router has to be main router, correct? That will kill the existing Asus AiMesh for sure.
Is it possible to connect one Linksys router to Asus router as AP, and use other Linksys routers as Linksys mesh?
