Pretty good deal. Again HART is owned by TTI who also owns Milwaukee, Ryobi, Hoover, etc… so it's not "just Walmart" tools. Great for an average homeowner.

Whao there, that misleading. You throwing "Milwaukee" name out requires a "*that doesn't amount to anything". Phillip Morris also own Kraft cheese

Milwaukee hand tools are made in West Bend, Wisconsin. They do not make any other tools under Techtronic's umbrella. TTI does not even manufacture most of their products but outsources them to 3rd party companies. They'll design it and then start taking bids on manufacturing a certain amount of units over a certain amount of time. The next gen of the product could be made by someone else. But this is how corporations roll now.

The point being is the parent company isn't Walmart. Lord help us all.

Fair point but Hart is basically the same quality as Ryobi (at least when it comes to power tools, I can't comment on Hart or Ryobi hand tool quality).

That said Ryobi brushless tools are of much higher quality (components, not the underlying brushless tech) than Ryobi brushed so I think it is safe to make the same assumption about Hart when it comes to brushless vs brushed

Oh, you're correct. That would be the Hyper Tough line. Same concept. A label that gets passed around (by Walmart) and the quality goes up and down over the years.

There's no need for hostile comments, I'm sure most of everybody here is not a pro, who need pro tools. I think these tools are good enough for most of us homeowners, so thank you for sharing the find. Now if ur a pro u wouldn't be here reading these thread, u would already bought a Milwaukee or Dewalts. We should share knowledge but in a productive manner.

I was gonna grab a set to toss in the car but the MM one isn't on sale. I can't buy just one without the other or my brain would break .

This being posted here is just Walmart sticking their neck in on all the tool talk trends. Irrelevant in my opinion.

IMO Hart hand tools seem comparable to current Kobalt or Husky. I'd generally rank those 3 above most Pittsburgh tools, but YMMV. Warranty process for Hart sucks from what I've heard.

Yes, warranty for HART is shiet. You NEED the receipt.

Their auto-vicegrip snapped the first time I used it and called HARTs warranty line.

1. They're so busy denying warranty claims that no one will answer your call. (That is if you make it past their multiple choice riddles and press the correct number to get to the correct department.

2. You'll leave a call back number and they'll call YOU at their convenience. Who do you think you are?? A paying customer?? Sheesh

3. Prepare to make your case like you're in court for a speeding ticket. (The odds in your favor are the same as well)
