I disagree. I have an HP Envy16 with a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900H and I've had nothing but thermal throttling issues. I'm only a few weeks out of the 12 month warranty and although I should have contacted HP from the gate I just never did and now I'm stuck with this and HP is trying to charge me $500 plus to repair. I'm not doing that. If I have to spend that much I might as well put it towards a whole new laptop with a whole new warranty. I would tell anyone to stay clear on the 13th and 14th gen intel chips. At this point, I'm gonna be looking more towards AMD CPU for a future laptop.

Can not confirm. Your ebay link and the description only shows that it is a 1440p panel. Acer made 3 panels at that size. A 165 hz 300 nit. A 500 nit 240hz and the mini led 250hz with hdr and 1000 nit peak brightness. Nowhere on the listing does it state which one if the 3 it is. Wish I did but it does not.i think you are confusing .mini led panel and mini led backlit keyboard.

I bought it and so far it has been amazing. The build quality is very good. I don't really care about the single key vs zone led thing on the keyboard. My old one had just one color. Seriously, why would this be a deal breaker? I'm getting full wifi6 and Bluetooth to ps5 controller is flawless. No need to change either one for me. The screen is actually very bright, brighter than my old one. I don't intend to use it much anyway as I prefer to play on a larger screen. If I need to, it still works nicely. I haven't tried any heavy hitting games yet, but emulation has worked with everything I have thrown at it of course. Now to just upgrade the memory and get a second larger hard drive. I am so happy with this purchase.

Isn't the i9+4070 for $1699 a better option? It has better screen, better processor, and 32GB RAM.
