it is hackable, just in time i needed the m12 multi tool, and at $88 dollars it might be the cheapest.

So is it considered that 5.0s are the best over the 6?

Nice. I just bought the stapler, but having a hard time justifying $140 for something as basic as that lol. Taking it down to $81 definitely helps. Will start my return and get this. Didn't need the batteries anyway.

If you're doing it for the hack to get on of the sub-$150 tools, then you can get a better deal with the 2.0Ah starter kit. [homedepot.com]

Can you get this deal in-store or do I have to order it online for pickup?

Typically if your store has both items the same offer will be available in store, but it depends on the sale, some of them are one day or just a couple days and online exclusive. Sometimes they show up in the store flyer if they're on sale that way in store. They should ring up the same if they're doing the buy X get Y free deal for the items in store.

6.0s are notoriously unreliable, I ditched mine shortly after finding that out. The 5.0s are basically the strongest output M12 battery they make. Whether or not they'll be reliable as the 4s and 3s will remain to be seen for now.

Perfect. Got 3 sets and might actually keep one set of batteries. Not sure.

Got the stick pump, cut off wheel, and the inflator. Stuff I've had on my wishlist for a while!

You'll love that stapler. I use it very often. I got it for $20 at flea market, open box good condition.

I use my cut off tool, ( the mini circular saw with 3" wheel?) for a ton of things. Got it 3-4 years back for 139 with tool, bag, charger, battery. I love it! I almost want to get another hahaha

FYI my order was cancelled. I did the hack, woke up this morning to a cancellation notice saying stapler is "out of stock" when it clearly isn't. Chose delivery.

Lets say I get the batteries and the pump. I want to keep the batteries only. If I try to return the pump only, will Home Depot allow that? Wouldnt i essentially be getting the batteries for free at that point? or will Home Depot not refund the total value of the pump?

***EDIT - Nevermind. I see that once the pump is added to the cart, the value is listed at 99.50, not 199.00.
