RAID is not a backup. One wrong mouse click, one virus, one accidental or malicious delete, one house fire, one theft and it could be gone. Most NAS now have snapshots which may help for some of those. Not saying you should use a cloud service but you should have something offline or near offline out of band backup for important things on that NAS you do not want to lose. Maybe you do and great but there should be more to the story than "I have a NAS". If you are cloudless (or using the cloud), a cheap portable USB drive you plug in and backup to once a month and then set on the shelf until next month is better than nothing.
I am aware, that is why I have a offsite external and it syncs nightly with rsync. Been flawless for about 10 years now.

I'm interested in Office 365 Family but don't currently have it. If I sign up for the 1 month free trial of Office 365 Family, would I be able to buy this and stack 9 months onto the free trial for Family? Or would I need the paid Family product to stack?

Confusing.. You have storage you replicate offsite to a remote location, you see the benefits. I'd encourage others to do the same and if they can easily with MS account, why not condone it?

I ordered three with 15 months and only received one with 12. I'm in touch with Untilgo and the staff mentioned they will contact the supplier about it.

Thanks - 18 hours still no email. Do we have to chat with them to get the code?

CAUTION others - may not be scam but things do not seem to be smooth.

PS: Just noted you are still waiting for the correct code (15 months)? So even that was not quite accurate (that you received the code in 10 hours)?

PPS: Just received my code - and it was correct 15 months!

Nothing confusing about it, I prefer to own my own data and not allow it to be used for data mining and marketing purposes. That data I have secured within my own network, so there is never any risk.

People who always complain about china this and china that, china routers, yet willingly upload sensitive information to cloud storage...

"That data I have secured within my own network, so there is never any risk." said thousands of people and companies.. For the average person that is not as confident, MS/Google/Apple cloud makes perfect sense and is 100% seamless across all devices anywhere. In my opinion... any metadata collected from your personal data files on your home network if they were put in the cloud is a minor piece of what you already giving away if you have a cell phone, use any web browser at all, search the internet, have any apps on your phone (even the ones that come with it), have any home automation products, or a car made in the last 5 years. I don't like it either but that is reality. The Chinese router? I'm with you on that one.

Nope, but I have my own NAS and have had one for a long time, so the online storage portion is not worth it for me.
So no offsite backup of anything?
