This stuff will fill nail holes but this product is not for drywall repair or anything large.

Just get it when you need it, shelf life is not great for items like this

I believe that you have it but can you use it to repair cracks... need to know the shelf life since a year old tub on my garage is completely dried up.

I agree but for $3 one could go through and fix a bunch of small holes without needing to mix joint compound.

Bought last time at this price. Just used this weekend for some small hole repairs. Works great, did not shrink, so really was just one time apply.
