Buyer beware, these are made with a plastic mechanical movement that cannot be serviced. Once it stops working right, that's the end of the lifespan of the watch.

It's not bad if you're active, but if it's quiet, it gives, "Tell-Tale Heart" vibes.
Replace, "don't need to be ever serviced" with "can never be serviced." The movement uses rivets and glue, rather than screws, so it is essentially unserviceable.
It will fail, all movements need service eventually, and in some cases quite a bit early than expected.
For a $35+shipping watch, that's semi-acceptable, so this particular deal I can accept. But definitely not at the prices Swatch generally asks for, for watches with this movement.
It's a neat idea, but poorly implemented. Especially when you realize there are tons of Seiko and Miyota automatic watches hovering around this price point, which are 100% serviceable.

I actually went from wearing a random Seiko growing up, to an Apple Watch, to an Apple Watch, to an... do I really want to keep buying a new Apple Watch every few years? I switched to mechanicals, and like them much more. My wrist no longer buzzes when I get a text message, but the fit, finish, and style are all immensely better.

If this is an everyday wear, get a Casio G-Shock if you are a cheapskate. Best watch ever made, same price as this, keeps better time. Can't break it, just needs a new battery every 5-10 years.
