I would just like to point out that Criterion bluray-only sets are typically sourced from a 2k master, especially if they were released more than a couple years ago, while the 4k/bluray combo packs are typically both sourced from a 4k master even if the movie had already been released on bluray.

tl;dr the bluray that is included in the 4k/bluray combo pack is usually better than the standalone bluray, so anyone wanting a bluray should buy the 4k combo if there is one.

Agree 100%, The Irishman was complete garbage. Criterion is obsessed and sycophantic over Scorsese.

Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE Criterion and Scorsese fan but there was zero need to put this film on Criterion, ZERO.
