Yah, tmo home internet sucks - if you have any other wired option (or mmWave even) save yourself the headache - the discount doesn't justify the inconsistent service and bad latency
I'd say it depends on how good the 5G coverage is in your area. I've been using TMHI for about 3 years for all our devices including streaming all of our TV services. It's been great for us and real happy to give Spectrum the boot.

Very location dependent. Some people get great speeds and reliability, others are in congested areas with slow speeds and interruptions.

Small print says $20 discount also available on new 5G internet with any voice line.

Read on the bottom of the page: T-Mobile customers who add 5G home internet can pay as little as $30/month with AutoPay and ANY voice line—but only while this offer lasts. Enter your address to see if you qualify.

Had it for 1 year now. The games i play get around 20-25ms vs the 15-20ms on spectrum. Speedwise, it will depend on location, but i get 300/100. Biggest difference is i locked in the price when it was $25/mo vs $80/mo with spectrum.

Just FYI, T-Mobile's promotion tracker shows an end date of 9/25/2024 for the $200 Mastercard offer

Do the 15 day trial, test a few locations in your place for the gateway,

So many factors can affect your results - no one should be making blanket statements. If you have a good location/connection, though, it could be game-changing for you.

Can this internet be moved around like a hotspot? Is it possible to use this in my RV while driving around?

Not anymore. They are cutting back on it. Unless you pay a lot more.

I got pretty darn good service in one house and barely usable in another. You just have to try it and see. The lack of compatibility with some streaming services is a major issue and possibly the slightly higher latency for gamers.

Also, these deals are really good for some people looking to leave their current cable internet provider and come back for new customer rates. 😈
