There is zero plastic... It's all metal. (the only plastic items are the knobs to turn the gas up and down.)

I just bought this a week ago and used it over Labor Day weekend. My thoughts:

- For this price, this is a great buy
- All metal construction. The handle in the middle is plastic as well as the burner control knobs, but everything else is metal.
- The burners were easy to control and could get down to a low output, which my buddy's Coleman struggled to do.
- They skimped underneath, where Colemans are fully enclosed and when carrying, makes a full clam-shell enclosure, but the Ozark version is fairly exposed under and does not give a smooth surface for packing it up.
- There are two major flaws that I can tell so far (but at $15 who cares?).
1) The angle of the gas nozzle is awkward and causes portable gas canisters to take up a lot of table space instead of lining up the gas bottle closer to the stove.
2) You're supposed to clip the gas nozzle underneath, but because of the nozzle's awkward shape, it doesn't fit within the envelope of the stove enclosure. When clipped underneath, it protrudes and doesn't allow the stove to sit flat. How dumb is that? And it is too big to fit inside the stove when it is closed without pushing up the lid a little.

Funny ... We have this and have used it a lot camping over the past 3 years with zero issues.

It's been great for us and works perfectly.

Ratings from verified purchasers are meh. Know what you're buying before taking this to your campsite.

I expect to see these resold after a few uses on Marketplace in a year.

I wouldn't expect anything else at $13, though.

Is this metal all around?!
Thinking about returning my one burner for this.

NVM it's plastic base looking at pictures won't hold up ever
Good catch there!
Thank you!
I assumed it was a decent knockoff of the Coleman (on sale $52) and I never would have thought to check the material it was made from, because "who makes a stove outta plastic"?

This is gonna be a hard pass from me.

Where do you get that information? I don't see anywhere in the description that says it's made of plastic. I read some reviews but nobody said anything about it being made of plastic. It would be very stupid to make a stove out of plastic.

The comments on SD can be pretty wild. Leave it to a bunch of cranks to immediately start bitching about a 2-burner stove for $13. There's like 9 comments and a good 1/3 of them are just incorrect.

Seems to always happen on here and usually from people who don't even own the product.

I bought a second one just in case as a backup because the price is so good.

Is 10,000 BTU for 2 stoves enough? I see other more expensive ones at 20,000.

Ok I'll return my single burner for this as that means more sturdy I was waiting for the Coleman to go on sale instead.
I still have not used the other single burner stove. Gas one version highly reviewed on Amazon. But this would be better so I can use the top to put items on when transporting items, instead of the top open.
Coleman is better of course

What are you trying to make?

We use a regular frying pan to cook and another pot to boil water without issues.

10,000 each burner is standard for this level of camp stove. Some probably advertise as 20,000 total.
