Ouch, those prices! Make sure you compare to any local/regional provider.
Xfinity is charging me 115 for less speed in South Fla. I called them and they said they can do no better. Time to leave those creeps.
I was with AT&T for the 1gig plan at $80/month (also took advantage of the $300+ gift card offer) and I was very impressed. Very rarely was there downtime and if so it was never longer than 10 minutes. Was getting 1000+mbps up and down. Spectrum came to my door offering the same speeds at half the cost. Wind up swapping over but of course its cheaper because the upload speeds are never more than 20mbps. Fine for me for only $40 a month. But when I move again, I will be going back to AT&T.

Att just called me to offer this plan $80 or $65 plan but no mention of gift cards. Will I can get them to do the gc along with it. Or can I directly apply this on sign up?
Also will be checking with Spectrum for their counter offers. If they do offer $40 more than likely I will cave

I would call/chat about the gift card offers, if they don't give in, then I would just sign up online. Last time I signed up I got my router/modem sent in overnight, super simple setup as the fiber line was already installed from the previous tenant.

Sometimes I get a little frustrated over the slow upload speeds but then I remember I'm paying half of what I used to for internet so I don't mind lol. The $40 a month with Spectrum required autopay and a mobile plan, they did offer a free 1-year unlimited plan that would reduce my internet to $40 (currently its $46) but I'm still on a family plan and I just never took the time to swap over. If you don't mind the slower uploads, I would go with Spectrum. I'm not sure what their monthly promos are as when the rep came to my door, he said that "next month the promos will likely change and the $40 1gig offer w/ 1yr mobile unlimited will end"; I swapped in July

Where I am living now I don't handle the internet bill and I plan on moving in a few months so I will just set up internet again when I do

You would have to cancel and re-sign up in spouse or someone else's name.

Does ATT fiber still include HBO go? Important to note that you could lose that if it does not by switching over to another user.

Not mentioned here, but there is also an offer for new att fiber customers signing up, who also have an active Postpaid wireless account. Both accounts have to be in the same person's name (not even if you're an authorized user on your grandmas cell phone account) and billing address have to match.

This will knock 20% off your existing wireless account *for life* (not counting device installments or insurance, etc)

this is stackable with the reward cards.

Perfect timing fiber is laying down in my townhome community and looking forward to ditching Spectrum and finally have options so that I can bounce around if needed/re-apply as a new customer and get discounts. It's considered single family dwelling, so I'm hoping they won't deny me a discount and claim its multi-dwelling for being townhomes.

Yes, there is a gray area if you moved into a new apartment and the person living there before you happened to have your same last name.

No, there is no waiting period from disconnect to being able to resign up. Just need to use your phone hotspots for a couple days during the down time.
Well that answer my question. Was hoping I could just change to wifes name.

I signed up about 2 weeks ago. The rewards email won't be sent for 6 weeks. No idea about the JBL speaker timing.

I'm currently paying $55/month with paperless billing and discounts at 1gbps.

Currently paying $70/m with google and it's been fine. Worth switching over for this promo? How soon would I be able to switch back to Google?
