just spot checked 3 items, everything was marked up 15-20% on the instacart page compared to warehouse pricing in app. you are basically getting warehouse pricing after the discount, but then also paying instacart fees+tip. meh.

I'm with you. I got the unique coupon as well. I just priced out a few items online and they are priced higher than warehouse pricing. By the time I get to $100, it would likely be cheaper to go to the warehouse. Still may be beneficial for some who don't have a Costco that close to them. I also assume there are other fees and tips for the delivery service? I've never used it before

Definitely price on costco same day is higher than store, but there is a way to use this deal, avoid delivery fees, get discounted price and save money.
Get instacart+ either thru chase offer (3 to 6 months, based on credit card) or get 1 year membership for ~$20 (includes peacock subscription).
Add instacart+ to costco same day delivery profile (it gives discounts of up to 7%) and avoid delivery charges.
Purchase discounted $100 instacart gift card from costco for $80.
Use 30 off 100 and 20% off above purchased gift card to get ~50% off on prices. After fees and other charges, saving is ~20-30% of in-store prices.

Where are you seeing a 1 year membership for "~$20"?

My insta driver was there when it first opened so i was one of the lucky few that got two. Tipper her additional $20 for getting it to me within an hour of store opening

What you probably don't know is as follows. If you buy Instacart gift cards online or in store that's another 20 percent off so 100 for 79.99. I crush in these deals. I also have Instacart membership via credit card so my spreads may be lower. For
Me definitely not 20 percent on the items that I order

Ordered and got an iPad delivered :-)
Price was $92.. added one more filler item.. crossed $100 then applied coupon.. so scored an new iPad for $70.. very happy
