After decades of looking and playing all sorts of axes, these are my favorites. I have 2, one hollow and one solid. This price is cheaper than both of mine were used. Immediately noticeable is that all notes sound really clear through the pickups, and esp my hollow one has sustain for days. Good luck!

For $1,400, you can get a "real" CE from 2008 or older. Back then they were Core-level guitars. Having owned both, there's only one way I'd go. I still own two old CEs, but moved the "new" one along.

This is an amazing deal. If you are on the fence about this one, you should really do it at this price. (I own a CE-24 and a CE-24 semi-hollow. Awesome guitars.)

I think the only prs I liked was the tremonti. How do these sound compared? also proaudiostar return policy? and reliability

What's considered a real CE? I'm not very familiar with the PRS lineup...all I'm aware of is that their SE line are made outside of US and their Mccarty line is their cheapest US made line. Where does this sit?

McCarty is a body shape. The US line goes: S2, CE (has a bolt on neck), the Core series, then the 10 tops and various Uber high end Private Stock.

Got it. Thanks! Is the guitar in this post better than a Fender American Strat Pro II?

I'll take the pickups in the post 2018 CE24s any day over the HFS's in the older ones. The bridge is much nicer in the old ones but doesn't really affect playing much. Birds v Dots is pretty subjective.

Solid deal. I had an older CE24 years ago. It was okay. The new ones sound much better IMO 🤷 ♂️

Solid deal if you need new...but these are nowhere near the feel fit and finish of a higher end prs.

Pra takes a monest hit in resale.
For $2k I recently picked up a mint 2009 c22 top 10 w/ birds ($5600 msrp in 09). Non 10 tops can be had for not much more than this ce model. I'd highly suggest going that route
