Still overheats. It is fine if you are moving (bike, outside of motorcycle or car, etc) or have good airflow (windy day, ac vent inside car, etc). You can use a lower resolution setting 4k30 runs fine in most use cases up to an hour. Other brands have the similar issue so it is a packaging and processing heat issue with the small form factor. The Hero 13 has a heat sink on the front now but it doesn't seem (early days) to help that much.

If the warehouse stock says none in stock but the same day instacart lets me purchase it what does that mean?

Agree with this. The overheating issue is kind of overstayed

OVERHEATS terrible version. Constantly overheats and freezes causing you to lose footage. Hopefully this issue was fixed with Hero 13.
