you should never call period. this is how you guarantee an employee either lies to you (claiming it themselves) and/or calling unneeded attention.

This is an old school slickdeal. Too cheap to be true. Could cancel or not cancel. You have the suspense and drama on whether or not it will ship. You hope no one calls the store and ruins the deal for everyone.

My Instacart shopper just messaged me back like 15 minutes later before I was going to hop in the shower and said they asked an employee who went to the back to check and got one for me.

They un-cancelled the shop and are otw now. NO WAY. Jawdrop

I think it's just authorization, because there is an option for an additional tip. Once order is complete they charge you only what you agreed to.

Same. But I did chat briefly with a friend of my that's a lawyer. If you enter into an agreement to buy an item at a set price, then they give you the item at said price, generally it's hard for them to come back for the difference. I'm going to keep my eye on the receipts / transactions too.

Got it! My Instacart driver said these are going FAST. He said he got one of the last ones before Costco stopped them. I ordered shortly before 10am Pacific.
