i got the 2000 lumen light a while back. it can run on battery or power (there is a recessed plug where the battery clips on). quite bright.

$170 glue gun?! I hope no one is paying full retail for that. I'm curious about their product durability and where the Hart line falls on a scale of other brands? I see Hart on deep discount frequently. Who is their direct competition? Craftsman, Cobalt, Skill, Ryobi?

I was in the market for an air pump recently.

the ad says 50% longer runtime. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't 2 identical ah batteries be a 100% longer runtime over 1 of the exact same battery. So it depends on what your starting ah is, but if you double your ah, you double your runtime. which means 100% longer runtime. Am i missing something?

hart is made by TTI... same as ryobi and Milwaukee.

hart is the walmart house brand. I would say their direct competitor is ryobi. hart is building out a pretty extensive ecosystem with their 20volt line... and also has 40v stuff ( like a riding electric mower! )

I mostly buy Dewalt but lately I've been buying random $20-$100 Hart tools for DIY and I've been very satisfied with the quality.

If you're in the ecosystem, check your local Wal-Mart occasionally for deep discounted items. Picked up the glue gun and fan for $9 each last month. Various other items for cheap too throughout the year

Over the last 2-3 years I've picked up 6-7 Hart tools. I mostly have Makita tools and while there is a noticeable difference between them the Hart stuff is very impressive for the clearance prices I've paid. The only big disappointment I've had was a 40v grass trimmer, literally broke on the first try. Luckily I only paid 40 bucks for it, a blower, and a battery that also works in my mower. I also have the light and inflator listed here, both are solid. The light is surprisingly bright and comes in handy all the time. The inflator can top off my truck tires but gets hot after 10 minutes but cools back off pretty fast.

I spoke with a Milwaukee rep once and she explained that Milwaukee is at the top,
Rigid and Hart in the middle as separate store brands,
Ryobi at the bottom.

Nope they're always brand new in box. Always in the regular tool section just marked down with either stickers on the box or on the shelf under the items
