At almost $0.50/box this is pretty competitive with store brands

very tempting price. Annie's is probably the best tasting mac and cheese.

Kraft has SODIUM TRIPHOSPHATE. Annie's has SODIUM PHOSPHATE. Does that really matter? They put similar sodium compounds in frozen shrimp to retain water. It increases the weight and their profits.

I always like it when the FDA says, " considered safe in low doses by the Food and Drug Administration"

Lucky Charms has trisodium phosphate in it.
We used to clean houses with that stuff. Very good cleaner .. The FDA says it's safe in small doses. but.....

Is trisodium phosphate safe?
According to the FDA, you can consume up to 70 mg of trisodium phosphate a day without significant health risks. However, due to the widespread usage of this food additive in hundreds of consumer items, the average American may be exposed to more than 500 mg of trisodium phosphate a day. Aug 24, 2022

Trisodium phosphate in food is deemed problematic by many health experts because of the potential health risks it can cause. It is believed to cause kidney damage, soft tissue calcification, and bone calcium remova. Continuous ingestion over a long period of time is linked to bone density diseases such as osteoporosis. I'd be more concerned about the amount of plastic in your brain

If you're concerned about the ingredients in processed foods, then don't eat processed foods

FYI: Cinnamon is a known carcinogen. You don't see people getting worried about it
