If you are currently in the market for a cheap ultra wide for general work, this is a good deal. If you don't mind waiting a bit longer the 34BQ77QB is a better deal. It is currently not delivering (or at least where I'm at) but it is available for pickup for $250.

Anyone want to comment on this deal? Overall rating of 4.6 / 5 stars.

You may see a "spin to win" popup that offers $15 off a $60 order when you sign up for emails and texts.

Yeah, I saw that one, too, but it's not available for shipping or pickup anywhere near me. Here's the link in case it's available for others: LINK [staples.com]. Thanks much for posting, helpful.

Same here - tried ordering for in-store pick-up from three different locations. All showed (1) available but always shot me an out-of-stock email after. Continues to show (1) available so not sure what is going on.

Anytime it's a low end lcd monitor, might as well run over to Wal-Mart and pickup a 43" 4k hdtv to use as a monitor instead.
All these low end ultra wide monitors are pretty much 4k hdtvs with the top cut off.
Plus when I'm not surfing the web,I can watch the games on a TV (free broadcast, make a free clothes hanger antenna).
Rare, but you can even pickup a 4k hdtv free on Craigslist - for sale - free stuff section like I did this year for a 4k Sony. (Tons of free 2k tvs.)

I use an LG just like it that is 75Hz works fine for most games. Not competitive with the higher Hz monitors but adequate for my old eyes. I have also used it for work, lots of zoom, SNOW and office products. Yes you can see two spreadsheets at the same time. I still like another two monitors however, but that's a preference. I was working retail when these came out and loved them. I have seen them cheaper( no not currently) even have a 1080p one in the closet unused. I would rate it 4 to 4.5 for office use and probably 3 to 4 for most games. 2 to 4 for FPS games. LG has always been a good brand in my experience. Hope this helps. PS they were 600$ when they came out years ago.

PS I think the deal I got was was at Walmart off SlickDeals a year or so ago. Yup paid 199 for this one. SAMSUNG 34" Class Flat LED Ultra WQHD Monitor (3,440 x 1,440) - 75Hz, 4ms Response, FreeSync, Display Port, HDMI (x2) - LS34J552WQNXZA. But the other one is LG so review stands.

Anyone know how this monitor compares to the 34WQ500-B that's currently on sale for $229 at LG/Best Buy? https://slickdeals.net/f/17718717-34-ultrawide-fhd-1080p-100hz-vesa-displayhdr-400-ips-monitor-with-amd-freesync-at-lg-229-99?src=SDSearchv3. For some reason, LG won't let me compare those 2 side by side.

Highly discourage getting a flat ultra wide at this size and suggest a curved ultra wide for anything over 30".
