Just as an FYI, the no-ads plan with Showtime is $59.99 with the 50% discount. For those of us who just can't stomach ads.

American Express has an offer for 3 months of Paramount Plus free. I'm saving them for Frasier.

What live soccer is available on the Essentials plan? Are UEFA champions league, Europa league, Serie A, EFL all available on this plan or do they require the with Showtime plan? Their page for plan differences is not good.

Happy to see this offer arrive as my current subscription expires. Thought I missed the previous one and was stressing me out!
They have worked on and improved the app (for Android) at least.

Paramount is shockingly one of the better streaming plans out there. Netflix is getting better. HBO Max is awful unless I really want to watch a show on there but that channel is dying. Disney is just shooting themselves in the foot and it's tragic.
Terrible take. I only subscribe to Paramount plus when it's free or near free, have gotten 2-3 1 month trials for free in past year and sure others have gotten more. HBO has a solid library unless you've watched it all (Sopranos, The Wire,
Winning Time etc) and appears to get better new release movies than Paramount. Netflix is the best of those mentioned, but prices are high as with Max

Rating entertainment is subjective. Paramount provides good entertainment value for the cost. Your standard of entertainment is not going to be the same for everyone else. I have a Netflix subscription for 10 years because of a free perk and I never use it.

You can argue value and I'd agree, I'm stating from content quality perspective. They have to essentially give the service away, there's a reason for that. A significant part of that is because there are so many streaming choices and redundant titles between the platforms (limited exclusive content). Apple TV plus has the same problem, you can get free trials frequently. They do have quality, exclusive content but there's not that much. So people watch a couple shows and bail
