Every time these show up on SD I come so close to pulling the trigger. Anyone have experience with these on a 2020-manufactured Switch?

I have quite a few of these, this brand as well as a few other brands, including a 65w version... they all work perfectly well. I can't believe how cheap these things are.

As someone who has played a Switch a few times but doesn't own one, what benefit does this one have that the standard dock that comes with the console doesn't? Is it just more portable than the dock?

I have one of these because of the low price to act as a dock for a used switch that didn't come with one. Unless you really want something small the OEM dock is so much more usable from a docking perspective in that it actually holds the switch instead of just sitting on a shelf

Does it work with other things too like a windows laptop or asus rog ally? Might be nice to just have the one USB-c cable from the couch to the tv rather than the mess I'm currently sitting on

It works with my phones and tablets so as long as you can get video out through USBC then there shouldn't be any issues

I've had the 36W version for some time now, but only used it a handful of times as I use it for the odd moments I need portable docking functionality. So far, it has yet to brick my OLED Switch.

Yeah, just more portable and easier to move between locations.

I have an early switch that is modded. This works like a charm

Code isn't working on 65w for any of the three colors. Haven't tried any others.

Last time this deal came around I bought the 67W version and returned it because my Switch or any other device wasn't connecting to any TV. Not sure if it's just the 67W model since no one else has said anything about it, or if I was just sent a faulty unit. Just my experience with the 67W specifically.

Is there any reason to choose the 65W over 30W?
