Is this a good deal or should I wait for the 50 series? Wonder how much further price drop if 5080 will be announced in a month.
It looks like both AMD and NVIDIA are clearing out their inventory. I've heard that 5080 is expected to release soon, earlier than 5090.
If you can wait then wait. My 1070 ti mini is still kicking enough for me currently. New card announcements/releases usually drop the previous card by a good bit especially if you get used/refurbished.
It all depends on the price point of the new cards, performance gaps and competition.
Combine this with the activation offer and add $92 to the order for the bestbuy card and do a pm. You wind up getting this for 760 after reward bucks. Easy way to top your iTunes or whatever. Obviously YMMV because not everyone gets those activation offers for their card.
