Multi-Charging (AC + Solar), Full Charge in 56 Minutes with 1500W Input⁵
With 1500W max input, it takes 56 minutes to fully charge. During daily use, plug in both AC and solar to charge DELTA 3 Plus, prioritizing solar to save money.

The DC in on these Ecoflow units is very poorly done and you will have a hard time trying to get 500 watts from each input. Even if you could, that's 1000 watts total input with a bunch of solar panels. Your AC will probably draw more than that, probably closer to 1200-1500 watts so you'd be able to use it for 2 to 3 hours, max. It probably won't let you use solar + 110v house outlet at the same time to run your AC.
For my Delta 2, I connected it to 600 watt panels (2s3p) and I usually get around 350 watts out of them. When I plug it into the 110v house outlet, it stops using the solar completely, so keep this in mind. In fact, when my Delta is plugged into 110v input, it stops using the battery's power too and it starts to recharge the battery. I've seen my unit draw over 2000 watts from my home's 110v because it was powering a device on AC while trying to recharge its own battery.
Also, my Delta 2 doesn't know how to prioritize solar charging. I think they had the option in years ago but it's no longer in the app. My Delta can't do load shifting either, even though some Ecoflow's techs said it can.
Personally, I'd recommend Anker's Solix batteries because my Delta 2 and Delta 2 Wave (their portable AC) have both failed within a year of ownership and I have no trust in their brand anymore. Their customer service has been fine but their products gave me a lot of doubt.

Install the app.
Go into settings.
Select Energy Management.
Enable Backup reserve.
Adjust the slider to adjust how much back up reserve you would like the device to maintain. Use this is conjunction with the Discharge limit and Charge limit settings. When the delta 2 hits the reserve threshold, and your unit is plugged into AC, the unit will keep drawing from AC to maintain the threshold if no solar, or not enough solar, is present. When there's enough solar, the Delta 2 will charge via solar input only after a given period of time that's greater than the current load on the device. If there's not enough solar, the Delta 2 will augment with AC.
Hope that helps.
