If they really want people to buy these, sale prices should be something like 512GB - $40, 1TB - $75 and 2TB - $125

Game pass is an unbeatable deal for grown ups who can't keep up with new releases….. but yeah I agree. Nothing very exciting this generation

Maybe when this drops to $130 it would be a good deal for 2TB. I'll stick with PC for now.

S/O to Xbox coordinating with partners to hit back with controller and expandable storage deals the same week Sony raised Dual Sense prices. Copped for my XSX Galaxy edition pre-order.

Xbox drop a 599 machine with 2tb with no performance leap, while Playstation just drop one with a new announcement of a new ps5 for 2tb for 100 more with more power. Both of my systems have been collecting dust, I have both but literally the last game I played on Xbox was lies of p a year ago! This whole generation has been disappointing with remakes and games that look a like and play like other games. I played hellblade 2 for 2 hours....and you Over here bragging about a Xbox controller to play call of duty number 50

On its own, it's a good deal. I bought the 1Tb version for $139 last year.

50, 100, 150. Would be the most I'd pay. But luckily I've just been deleting the games I haven't played. So I've been good on storage. BTW I loved hell blade 2 was an awesome game. A must play all the way from beginning to end.

funny thing is the "pro" will barely be catching up/ MAYBE marginally surpassing it.. doubtful with no significant tdp increase and the cpu still being the limiting factor

That's not what people who saw it in action are saying on Twitter.

Not a bad deal, now do the 1TB for $100 with some inventory to actually buy!

Still can't believe how bad they rip you for these and their essentially little brother the CFExpress B. FWIW you can buy containers that will take a 2230 NVME and adapt to this form factor for a lot less. I run the regular shorties in my digital SLRs.

I'm glad the prices are coming down, but it's still ridiculous that 1TB costs $200 in 2024.
