What you fail to realize is that he comments this on every single thread, ad nauseum. There's zero effort to be helpful or informative, so what would you label it? A meme?
As for the rest of your comment, are we just straight up lying at this point?
A BIOS update solves the issue for processors that haven't already been affected.
Even if that weren't the case, as I said previously, the whole system is under manufacturer warranty. It might be inconvenient to buy it only to send it back in six months, but nobody is going to get shafted on this deal.
For anyone who bought a boxed retail processor, Intel has extended their warranty on the component. To say they aren't honoring it is just another lie.
it's been available every month for the past 3 months at Best Buy, and will probably be available again soon as we approach the 15th.

However, you never want to run mismatched pairs in a system capable of dual, triple, or quad channel interleaving for compatibility sake, as it can halve your bandwidth.
That's why RAM kits are sold in matched pairs of 2 or 4 DIMMS.

First, the fix was uploaded over a month ago. Reviewers have fully tested it and have found basically no performance loss. Second, Intel extended the warranty from 3 years to 5 years, many OEM companies have extended their 1 year warranty to cover this, and people that had a degraded CPU from before the patch have been getting warranty replacements. The only case that I saw where someone didnt get a replacement, was because they were sold a counterfeit CPU (it was an open box that someone swapped out the CPU and the person didnt realize), so to Intel it seemed like an attempt at warranty fraud.

They didn't seem to do it when AMD was having very similar issues last year.
It's always advisable to seek multiple sources.
