They are spiteful and don't want to pay the company that owns the patent so they turned off the feature. Remember if it doesn't make money for them, they don't want it.

I think I read on appleinsider that tides will be available on series 9 as confirmed by the beta OS release - apple just didn't include that fact in the announcement yesterday.

Edit: I read it on macrumors "An all-new Tides app designed for the Apple Watch Series 10 also comes to the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 ."

I saw $300 earlier as a trade-in value for my Apple Watch 9. As of a few minutes ago, I am only seeing $180 offered for the trade in.

Try first adding to the cart & then trade in from the cart. Its shows $300 for non members and 330 for total members.
