They are spiteful and don't want to pay the company that owns the patent so they turned off the feature. Remember if it doesn't make money for them, they don't want it.

The list of previous gen watches for trade in is incomplete or perhaps certain models don't qualify. E.g. I don't see series 6 in titanium as an option.

The 10 is almost identical to the 9 aside from the slight size change. Not really worth an upgrade for the 9 unless you just wanted the latest imo

The rest are 150-180$

edit: Seems different Colors are applicable too, but still seeing only on Series 9 41mm

If you do a trade in at Best Buy, do you need to give up the band for your watch too? If you do a trade in with Apple, you only send back the watch itself (you get to keep the charger and band)
