I'd be interested in this deal if I didn't lose the blood oxygen sensor functionality in the process

They are spiteful and don't want to pay the company that owns the patent so they turned off the feature. Remember if it doesn't make money for them, they don't want it.

Non-member here: total came down to $117 (w tax and $5 random gift certificate from BB). Cheers OP, got one 🙏 absurd to see Apple only offering $170 for same exchange.

why GPS+Celluar version worth lesser than GPS only?

I have an old Apple series 1, but I can't seems to find this model in the drop down list
Because it's too old and not worth anything

Yes, Best Buy is giving more trade in money for a GPS than GPS+Cellular version for certain models. I have a GPS+Cellular Watch 7 and Best Buy is only offering $100, while the GPS only version is getting $150. I don't know if that's a mistake or not, but it does seem weird.

If your series 1 is unopened and still in the box, or if your series 1 is the gold edition model, then your watch is worth a bit. If it's not, then it's not worth anything and you wont be able to trade it in. Even Apple wont give you money for it and they don't accept it as a trade in. Series 1 is obsolete.
It's like that for iPads as well. I traded in an iPad mini 5 WiFi for $190, cellular was $90.
Had a pro 12.9 4th gen, WiFi was $420 and cellular was $320.

Interesting. I didn't know that Best Buy had this policy in the past also.

Literally never used it. But I would be super interested if they offered a deal on the Series 8!

Apparently the CEO of Massimo stated that Apples blood oxygen sensor is completely inaccurate and essentially useless. I know it's a contradictory statement considering he also claimed they're using their tech lol
You mean to tell me the CEO diminished a competitor who is causing people to buy less of his product? Who could have guessed? 😂

For $100 it's worth the upgrade from Series 9 to 10 for me. I am wanting longer battery though, so was looking into the Ultra 2 which would be closer to $600.

Anyone with an Ultra think it's worth it.

$165 for my Series 7 GPS. Nice. Going to a cellular version this time - too many times I've needed it at beaches/pools/water parks when my family can't reach me. Thanks OP!

I have a stainless steel Series 9 that's worth a lot more than that. No point in downgrading to a lightweight titanium watch that has less presence on the wrist and losses a sensor. Pass.

I checked their price for the Series 7. If you have an aluminum watch with sport band, they give you $150. If you have the stainless steel version with Milanese loop, they give you $100. LOL
I guess I'm not trading in my Series 7 SS Graphite.

Anyone know if the watch needs to be functioning? I have a series 7 that died after swimming in the ocean and I've just kept it sitting around since o replaced it with a series 8. Would be cool to get something for the dead series 7….
