Op is lying and of those customers who take advantage of retail workers, we see this everyday at the Apple store too. It's unfair the customer service we have to give to these kinds of people.

I think when I bought it on my Costco credit card it gave me 2 years total. Not sure, I was able to do the return in my online account and I chatted with rep to confirm. I was a little surprised how easy it was to do.

Got refunded today. No questions asked. Sent watch in via ups and refunded within 3 days. So must've been a benefit of Costco business Visa card that I think was grandfathered into. Lucky timing.
