check you local yamaha dealer before buying. They can likely beat the price on all ebikes. i purchased the morrow 7 new for 500 less the online.

Purchased second one today. price went up slightly below is my invoice. price was 2247 (morrow 7) out the door.
For those thinking about getting an ebike but worried about not getting enough exercise, remember this: sitting on the couch thinking about riding your analog bike burns no calories. Riding your ebike because it's fun and you don't have to stress about a hateful hill climb or running out of energy far from home burns a lot more calories!
Apparently it's Yamaha ebike week on SD

Someone created Yamaha ebike group at Reddit. It might be better to talk Yamaha ebike there since this thread is getting longer and longer. https://www.reddit.com/r/Yamahaeb...utm_term=1

That one even said on the website that it supports 18mm hole spacing. But apparently not. That is good to know.
Well it does fit the hole gap/distance, but not the hole size for the hex bolts. So I suppose you could get different size hex bolts that would fit.

You can register the bike with out the dealer "signing off". They are full of crap. Go here. [yamahabicycles.com] It just asks for "Dealer that sold you the product".
Thanks for that warranty reg link. I used that, and called the Yamaha customer service number. Spoke to a guy, all is good seemingly, registered with battery coming in a few months.

Before this I called the storage unit place and left my contact info for the "Yellow Jersey Supply dba Velofix" dealer. Never got a call back. Whatever.

The bike is very good. I have about 150 miles on it and am quite happy. Heck of a deal for $1700. I got the Wabash.

Someone mentioned they got their second battery in a few weeks. Yeah, the Wabash is a good bike. It is so fun to use on the steep roads by my home.

Does anyone know what the 2 mounts on the front stem/fork area are called? the 2025 Wabash RT comes with a light in this area, but if I wanted to buy some 3rd party mount that is a similar mount/clip, I have no idea what name to even search for.

The ones on the fork are just called mounts for bike packing to attach a front rack, additional bags, or water bottles.

The one on the very front are light mounts.

just picked up size S but it is too tall for my wife

any idea how to return it?

I am thinking of changing to 24" wheelset to make it 2in lower, but that is going to look weird?

The pedals will be a lot closer to the ground and they could strike the ground when turning or hitting dips. I almost ate it once when I swapped 29" 2.xx inch tires for some 38x700c.

The returns link on the website state that the bike must be unused so there might be some pushback if it's been ridden.

I reused my giant kickstand but the wabash kickstand mounting holes aren't threaded, so I had to find some other bolts I had laying around (m6 worked for me). I've got a Yamaha kickstand coming into the bike shop, so I'll see what the oem kickstand uses to attach eventually.

If it's just a matter of a few inches, switching to a 650b wheelset with less aggressive knobby tires would give you at least an inch and a half more clearance. It doesn't look weird at all; I've seen some shorter riders do this on road bikes.

Yes the very front. That's the mount I cannot find. Bicycle light mount brings up 100% handlebar lights or any other form of handlebar mount

UPDATE: Fork mounted bike light brings up better results, still a crapshoot though

Fork Mounts
"The mounts on the fork legs of a gravel bike are generally referred to as:
Bottle Cage Mounts: These are threaded bosses or rivnuts on the fork legs that allow you to attach bottle cages or other accessories.

Three-Pack Mounts or Cargo Cage Mounts: Many modern gravel forks feature a set of three bosses on each fork leg, often called "three-pack mounts" or "cargo cage mounts"."

Has anyone tried using the display unit's micro-USB port to power a bike light? The manual says it's a power port, so it should be able to charge other devices. Seems you would need a micro-USB to micro-USB cable which isn't very common.

You may want to double check the use of that port. What I've read is that the micro USB port on the "Display A" used on the current models Wabash RT and CrossCore RC are for service only and NOT for powering a USB device.

The previous models seem to have used a different display that did have USB charging and much of the online documentation still refers to the older model displays that had the powered USB port.

Somewhere on the Yamaha site I saw a comparison of the different displays and it clearly showed that the Display A model did not have a power port or Bluetooth connectivity like the other models.

Ordered on Sept 26th. Got shipping notice on Sept 27th. Picked up the bicycle from the Dealer in San Diego today Oct 4th. This bike is fast and lighter than expected. Transferred Topeak MTX disc cargo rack and old Axiom Panniers from old bike. Perfect fit.
