check you local yamaha dealer before buying. They can likely beat the price on all ebikes. i purchased the morrow 7 new for 500 less the online.

Purchased second one today. price went up slightly below is my invoice. price was 2247 (morrow 7) out the door.
For those thinking about getting an ebike but worried about not getting enough exercise, remember this: sitting on the couch thinking about riding your analog bike burns no calories. Riding your ebike because it's fun and you don't have to stress about a hateful hill climb or running out of energy far from home burns a lot more calories!
Apparently it's Yamaha ebike week on SD

Ordered on Sept 26th. Got shipping notice on Sept 27th. Picked up the bicycle from the Dealer in San Diego today Oct 4th. This bike is fast and lighter than expected. Transferred Topeak MTX disc cargo rack and old Axiom Panniers from old bike. Perfect fit.
Would you mind sharing whether you ordered thru Yamaha direct or the bike shop? And which bike shop in San Diego?

I've got a buddy who is having no luck getting an order placed through a San Diego area shop.

Thx!

The pedals will be a lot closer to the ground and they could strike the ground when turning or hitting dips. I almost ate it once when I swapped 29" 2.xx inch tires for some 38x700c.

The returns link on the website state that the bike must be unused so there might be some pushback if it's been ridden.
I have not even powered it up yet since my wife couldn't get on to the seat. But the dealer did some test ride after setting it up

Directly thru Yamaha.
Fly Rides in Poway is only option for pick up.

I placed an order with Fly Rides San Diego on 9/13 directly and still waiting for them to contact me for pickup. I guessed it's better to order from the Yamaha website if I could do it again.

You should call them to find out what's going on.

I called, but they have a voicemail setup and state they are not taking inquiry of the Yamaha ebike order as they are working hard to get these Yamaha ebike orders prepared for the customers. I am thinking of going to the store this weekend to ask them. It's about 15 minutes away from my place.

Someone mentioned they got their second battery in a few weeks. Yeah, the Wabash is a good bike. It is so fun to use on the steep roads by my home.

Might have been me. I received my battery directly from Yamaha approx 10 days after picking up my Wabash from my LBS (when I registered for the warranty using the LBS computer linked to a specific website). Very pleased thus far.

That's good you received it so quickly. I'm trying to decide if I want to follow best practices to only charge the battery to 80% so that it will have a longer life span. Except this will shorten my long bike rides.

Are most people just charging it to 100% after each use or stopping the charge at 80%? In addition, how do I know what 80% is when there are only bars (on the battery and on the bike display panel) that aren't exactly correct. haha

just picked up size S but it is too tall for my wife

any idea how to return it?

I am thinking of changing to 24" wheelset to make it 2in lower, but that is going to look weird?
I've read that the sizing is different for these. So a small is really a medium. It is difficult to order sight unseen from their website. It's to bad that their local Yamaha dealers don't have more demo versions. My local dealer only had a few very old Wabash Ebikes from 2020. Don't overthink it, the battery is meant to be used. With two of them and very basic maintenance, you won't notice degradation for a long time.

Anyone can recommend a high-quality adequate kickstand for this? I bought a generic one without thinking and the holes spacing on it is way too wide. Looks like the holes spacing on the bike is 18mm?

The one that comes with the crosscore rc is nice. I suspect it also fits the Wabash.

The guy told me most pick up happen on Saturday. You should avoid going in when it's busy.
