I jumped on this when it was this price a few weeks ago and I can't believe how nice it is for the price. So far it feels like a massive upgrade from my more expensive jobsite saw (DeWalt DWE7491RS).

I had been using the jobsite saw for so long that I didn't understand what I was missing. If you are starting out with woodworking in your garage, and you are deciding between this and any jobsite saw, this is what you want. The only exception would be if you require the portability beyond your garage (this Ridgid moves easily inside your garage, but wouldn't be fun to load into a truck).
I don't understand your point here. Unless you're trying to pick it up for some reason, 220lbs on wheels is much easier to move around a garage than even a job site saw with no wheels.
Awfully dramatic....

As an owner of a far larger and heavier saw, as well as other equipment of similar size to this saw, all with mobile bases, it's really not that big of a deal wheeling stuff across a solid flat surface.

Wave Thanks for sharing this! Is it by any chance an in-store only or YMMV deal? I'm seeing a much higher price.

Thanks

This worked High Five

I do want to note that it worked for me only when the store I chose for pick up has it in stock instead of having to wait for it to be shipped to the store (free/no delivery charge).

Seemed like this happened last time. If you're seeing it at full price switch to a store that has it in stock. If this is the same as its Delta clone, it's a fantastic price for what you get. Anything better is usually $1000+

If anyone is wondering, it's a rebrand of the delta contractor saw. Reliable fence, probably the best part of the saw

Same situation for me. What a saw for the money. My dewalt jobsite doesn't compare. Such a smooth cut and enough power for anything I have thrown its way. Keeping the dewalt for on the go though.

Not available for in store pickup anywhere even close to me. Full price only. No online order or ship to store for pickup available. Unless I want to make a 3 hour trip to the closest in stock store. Frown

It's 220 lbs.

Even in the garage that's significant

Is there a better way to search where it is in store other than changing location until it says in stock nearby? Like a way to increase the radius?
